Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ordering catering on feeds.com.sg.
Ordering
How do I place an order on feeds.com.sg?
Click 'Browse Menus' to see all available caterers, filter by cuisine, dietary need, price per pax, or group size, then open any caterer to view their full menu. Select your package, choose your pax count (minimum 10 pax for most caterers), add to cart, and check out with PayNow or credit card — the whole process takes under 5 minutes. If a merchant is unable to fulfil your order, you will be refunded in full.
How do I filter caterers to find the right one for my event?
On the Browse Menus page, use the filter sidebar to narrow down by cuisine (Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese, Western and more), dietary requirements (Halal Certified, Vegetarian, Vegan, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free), price per pax, minimum group size, lead time, and minimum star rating. Most customers find their caterer in under 2 minutes using the cuisine and dietary filters.
Can I order from more than one caterer at a time?
Each order is placed with one caterer at a time — this ensures the caterer can prepare your spread to the right standard. If you need food from multiple kitchens for a large event, simply place separate orders; our team can help coordinate timing. WhatsApp us at +65 8966 3963 if you need a multi-caterer event managed.
Can I change my order after checkout?
Yes — WhatsApp us at +65 8966 3963 as early as possible (ideally at least 3 days before your event date) and we'll coordinate changes with the caterer. Changes are subject to the merchant's confirmation and availability, so the sooner you reach out, the more likely we can accommodate.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes — cancellations are reviewed case by case. WhatsApp us at +65 8966 3963 as early as possible; cancellations made well in advance of the event date are generally approved in full. Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours) may be subject to the caterer's cancellation policy.
Can I request a custom menu or off-menu items?
Yes. WhatsApp us at +65 8966 3963 with your event details, headcount, dietary requirements, and any specific dishes you have in mind. Our team will reach out to shortlisted caterers on your behalf and get back to you within 1 business day.
Pricing & Payments
How much does catering cost on feeds.com.sg?
Catering on feeds.com.sg starts from around S$10/pax for mini buffets and bento, with most packages falling in the S$12–S$28/pax range depending on cuisine and format. Full buffet setups with chafing dishes and on-site crew are typically S$18–S$35/pax. Every caterer's per-pax price is shown upfront on their menu page — no quote step required.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept PayNow (instant bank transfer — no fee) and all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). PayNow is the most popular choice for Singapore customers. Corporate accounts can also request 30-day credit terms and e-invoicing — contact us at +65 8966 3963.
Is GST charged on top of the price?
GST at 9% applies to all orders and is shown clearly at checkout before payment. The per-pax prices displayed on caterer pages are before GST — the final GST-inclusive total is shown on the payment screen and on your invoice.
Delivery
How much is the delivery fee?
Mini buffets and bento orders have a flat delivery fee of S$30 islandwide across Singapore. Full buffet set-up delivery fees vary by caterer and are shown on each caterer's page before checkout — they're higher because the crew also sets up and tears down the buffet on site. Self-collection is free where the caterer offers it.
Do you deliver islandwide across Singapore?
Yes — feeds.com.sg caterers deliver to all areas of Singapore including the CBD, Jurong, Tampines, Woodlands, Changi, Clementi, Bishan, and the east. There is no location surcharge; the delivery fee shown at checkout is the final amount regardless of your address in Singapore.
Do you deliver on weekends and public holidays?
Yes, most caterers on feeds.com.sg are available on weekends and public holidays, including Sundays and gazetted holidays. Availability is shown on each caterer's page, and if a merchant cannot fulfil an order on your selected date, you will be refunded in full.
Why are full buffet set-up delivery fees higher than mini buffets?
Full buffet set-up requires the caterer's crew to physically deliver, set up chafing dishes, lay the table skirting, and return to tear everything down after your event. This additional labour time is why the delivery fee is higher compared to a mini buffet, which is simply delivered in disposable trays and requires no crew.
What do I do if I receive incorrect or missing items?
Contact us immediately via WhatsApp (+65 8966 3963) or email (enquiries@feeds.com.sg) with your order reference number and a description of the issue. We'll coordinate with the caterer to rectify it — common resolutions include a replacement delivery or a partial refund, depending on what went wrong and the timing.
Catering Formats & Planning
How much food should I order per person?
As a rule of thumb, a mini buffet with 5–6 dishes feeds one full meal per guest, and one bento set equals one person. Order for your confirmed headcount rather than over-ordering — most caterers portion generously. For a precise estimate based on your headcount, event type (lunch vs dinner, seated vs standing) and appetite level, use our free catering portion calculator.
How far in advance should I book catering?
Most mini buffet and bento orders need just 1–3 days' notice. Full buffet setups with an on-site crew need 5–7 days. For weddings, large events over 100 pax, and festive periods like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya and Christmas, book 2–4 weeks ahead — these dates sell out quickly. If you need something urgently, WhatsApp us at +65 8966 3963 and we'll check same-day and next-day availability.
What is the difference between a mini buffet and a full buffet?
A mini buffet is delivered in self-heating trays that keep food hot for up to two hours — no crew, chafing dishes or setup required, making it ideal for 10–30 pax at homes, void decks and offices. A full buffet includes chafing dishes, table skirting and a setup crew that arrives to lay out the spread and clears it afterwards, better suited to formal events and larger groups of 30 pax and above. See our mini buffet vs full buffet guide on the blog for a detailed comparison.
Do I need chafing dishes or heating equipment for my event?
No. Mini buffet and bento orders arrive ready to serve — mini buffets come in self-heating trays that stay hot for up to two hours with no gas, power points or chafing dishes needed. This is why they work in any HDB void deck, condo function room or office pantry. Only full buffet setups involve chafing-dish equipment, and in that case the caterer's crew brings and sets it all up for you.
Do caterers offer halal, vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes. On the Browse Menus page you can filter caterers by Halal Certified, Vegetarian, Vegan, Nut-Free and Gluten-Free. MUIS halal-certified caterers are clearly badged, and many caterers can prepare mixed orders — for example halal and vegetarian sets in the same delivery — so diverse guest lists are covered in one checkout.
